The Hero of the Story

I am the protagonist of this story...

My name is Shin... and I’m thirty years old.

I work in AI video production, and I love my job. It doesn’t take up too much of my time, and I make a decent amount of money from it!

At my previous job, I used to create fantasy videos. You know... dragons and magic!! That’s my field, and it’s the world I love.

But now, unfortunately, I’ve ended up making promotional videos for perfumes... or creams!

I have charcoal-black hair, dark eyes, and fair skin.

My mother tells me I’m handsome... although I think I’m just average!

I love wearing comfortable and unique clothes. I feel like they express who I am, and I feel more comfortable in them, even if other people think they’re strange or unusual.

And of course, I never forget my big noise-canceling headphones.

I also always like to add a pair of brightly colored shoes to my outfit!

My siblings are always surprised by my sense of style.

“Are you trying to get people’s attention?”

My eldest brother, a mechanical engineer, always says that.

“Are you serious? People are going to make fun of you!”

That’s what my second eldest brother, a doctor, says.

“I don’t know... your taste is weird.”

That’s what my third sibling, who works in graphic design, says.

But I’m not trying to get people’s attention...

And I don’t want people to make fun of me...

And I don’t want my style to look strange.

And I definitely don’t want to change my clothes, Mom!

“You’re not going out wearing those clothes!!”

That’s what my mother shouted at me today.

Anyway, all of that is perfectly normal...

But there is one thing about me that’s relatively... not normal.

And that is my friend, Yassin.
