Who you are contracting with

LitFic is operated by Ever After Books Ltd. Ever After Books Ltd is the seller and issuer of purchased LitCoins. LitFic is an Ever After Group project, but that description does not change the company you contract with.

Using LitFic

You may browse public stories without an account. An account is required for saved reading, publishing, LitCoins and paid chapter access. You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign in secure and use the Service lawfully.

LitCoins

LitCoins are prepaid store credit recorded in your Ever After wallet. One LitCoin represents one penny of redemption value. They can be used only for eligible goods, services and digital content offered by participating Ever After services. They are not cash, cannot be withdrawn as cash and are not cryptocurrency. Purchased LitCoins do not expire. Promotional LitCoins may have separate campaign conditions disclosed when they are awarded.

A purchase is complete only after Stripe confirms payment and the wallet ledger records the credit. The price paid and any free bonus coins remain separately identifiable in our records. Converting LitCoins into an Ever After gift card moves the same store credit and does not create a second balance.

Cancellations and refunds

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights. You may ask us within 14 days to cancel a LitCoin purchase that remains unused. We will return any eligible refund to the original payment method and remove the related purchased and bonus coins. If some value has already been used, we may deduct the value already supplied only where the law allows. Faulty, misdescribed or unavailable digital content remains subject to your legal remedies.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you publish. You grant Ever After Books Ltd a nonexclusive licence to host, reproduce and display it as needed to operate and promote LitFic. You must have the rights needed to publish it. Any separate publishing agreement with Ever After Press Ltd applies only to the work covered by that signed agreement.

Suspension and changes

We may restrict an account to protect users, creators, payments or the Service, or where these terms or our content guidelines are broken. We will not remove a valid purchased balance merely because an account is restricted. If the LitCoin issuer ever changes, the outstanding customer balance and redemption obligation must transfer together and affected users will be told before the change takes effect.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory rights and forum protections that apply where you live. For support, cancellation or refund requests, use the Ever After Books contact page. See also our privacy policy and content guidelines.
