On a lane bordered by towering sycamores, Julius's vehicle came to a stop. Janina felt her heart thumping in her chest. She held her breath. Seeing Julius exit and approach a man on the pavement. It was a thin woman with long hair falling over her shoulders, dressed in a white outfit. She appeared to be waiting for someone as she waited by the road. Julius walked up and gave her a little touch on the shoulder. The woman pivoted and instinctively put her arm around his. Julius did not retreat.
Rather, he extended his hand to gently tousle her hair. Janina was unable to see the woman's face because of his physique. pavement. Janina's heart fell. She held onto the seat's edge with her fingertips. She went over all of Julius's acquaintances and family in her head, but she was unable to identify this woman. Then she noticed Julius holding the car door open for her. With a small head dip, the lady slid into the passenger seat. Once she was inside, Julius shut the door, circled the front of the vehicle, and returned to the driver's seat.
She had never seen Julius appear so kind and focused before. His normally composed manner had entirely vanished. replaced by a kind grin reserved for that woman. So he wasn't incapable of grinning. He simply never gave her a grin. After starting the vehicle, Julius and the woman drove off and vanished from view. As Julius's vehicle moved away, the driver turned to Janina and said, "Miss, should we keep following?"
Janina felt a sudden, intense ache in her lower abdomen. Her brow began to perspire. She gritted her teeth and forced out two words, clutching her stomach: "The hospital." Concerned for the infant. For a time, Janina forgot about Julius and the other woman as she hurried to the hospital. Thankfully, the baby's condition was confirmed by the doctor following an inspection. Dazed, she was making her way to the hospital's main entrance when she noticed Julius assisting a woman inside.
At that moment, Janina was prepared to charge over and demand an explanation. Her husband's close relationship with another lady was something she could not tolerate at all. However, she froze upon seeing the woman's face. The woman was stunning, and her white gown gave her an attractive and pure appearance. She clung to Julius's arm as though they were a couple, and there was a tenderness on his face that Janina had never seen. Whispering something in his ear, the lady leaned forward. In the ten years that Janina had known him, she had never seen such a cozy, private setting as they spoke and laughed all the way inside.
Janina knew who she was. It was Yvonne Moore, Julius's former sweetheart. With a soft and kind touch, Julius stretched out and gave Yvonne a little smack on the nose. Yvonne instinctively put her arm around his once again as her fingertips softly touched his hand. "You're pregnant, Yvonne." "You should relax," the doctor said. "Simply ask the housekeeper to prepare whatever you wish to eat going forward." Thank you, Julius. Yvonne put her palm on her stomach and smiled softly. "Baby, you have to be good now, okay?" Yvonne then raised her head and gave Julius a kind glance.
They grinned at one another, their bodies getting closer as their eyes met in a moment of intimacy. It was like a succession of slaps to Janina's face to watch them behave so sentimentally. Janina immediately hid in a corner as the two got closer. She had no idea why she was scared. It was Julius who was being dishonest. However, she believed that she was the one who had made a mistake. Or perhaps she was simply afraid that her ten-year romance would be a farce if Julius saw her. From behind, the two individuals passed her.
