Julius used a napkin to gently wipe his mouth. Then, using his left hand, he nonchalantly picked up a magazine off the table and began leafing through it. He said without even looking up, "I was at Luxor with some friends." He seemed to notice Janina's strange demeanor after saying that, and he eventually raised his head to look her in the eye. "What's wrong?" He scowled a little. He felt uneasy, like he was being watched, when Janina asked. learning that Julius spent the previous evening at Luxor.
A rush of relief swept over Janina. She had previously visited a bar called Luxor. She hadn't enjoyed the atmosphere, and the scent of perfume within was overpowering. She had never returned. The smell on his garments didn't appear to come from another woman, but rather from the bar! He was eager to spend money on her, showed her generosity, and gave her pricey presents every holiday season.
There had never been any controversies or rumors about him during their time together. How could a spouse like that be unfaithful to her? Janina grinned. She reasoned that if she had such a silly notion, she must be becoming extremely sensitive due to the pregnancy. Janina made the decision to break the news to Julius. I must tell you something, honey. Julius's phone, which was on the table, rang as Janina started to talk. He responded to it.
"Hello?" Although she was unable to hear what was being spoken on the other end, Julius's face immediately became serious. He got out of his chair. I'll be there immediately." After hanging up, Julius strolled to the couch and picked up his jacket. All he had left Janina was a chilly, distant sentence and his departing back. I'm going out for a little while." The room reverberated with the hefty thump of the door closing.
Janina's thoughts vanished. Numbly, she gazed in the direction he had gone. She was certain that she had heard a gentle, feminine voice over the phone. It declared, "I'm pregnant..." That woman—who was she? And why would she inform Julius of her pregnancy over the phone? A searing ache rushed through her, like a needle piercing her heart. Janina. Her misgivings about the scent had barely vanished,, and now Julius was being called by an unfamiliar woman. Janina was compelled to assume the worst.
A lady sensed that there was undoubtedly a problem with Julius. The seemingly impregnable wall of her love started to shatter at that very instant. She put on her slippers and bolted out the door without thinking twice. In order to identify the lady on the phone, she made the decision to follow him. Janina didn't pull the automobile out of the garage to allay suspicions. Rather, she went to their residential community's gate and called for a cab. Just as she arrived, a taxi was dumping someone off.
Janina leaped in as soon as the passenger got out. She spotted Julius's automobile come out of the subterranean garage as she was getting comfortable. Please follow that automobile, sir. From the rear seat, Janina pointed at Julius's car. In the rearview mirror, the driver cast a quick glance toward Janina. His years of expertise informed him exactly what was happening when he saw her wearing loungewear and no makeup. He was more than willing to assist in these circumstances, prepared to demonstrate his abilities and complete the task. "Miss, you got it." The driver grinned confidently and added, "Don't worry, I promise I won't lose him."
