Synopsis

After a car came up out of nowhere on her morning run, they assigned me a new bodyguard. Elias Crane, thirty-eight, ex-special-forces, all discipline and walls and the inch he will not cross. I am twenty-three, and in twenty months I inherit a company men have killed for, and the trouble with the threat on my life is that it isn't a stranger. It's coming from inside my own family, the people who need me dead before my birthday makes me untouchable. Elias is paid by the very trust that wants me gone, and he is somehow the only person I can trust. He was sworn to protect me.
