The Absurd World of Myne follows Myne, a fourteen-year-old aspiring markswoman with an oversized arsenal, pink hoverboots, and enough confidence to challenge just about anything that looks stronger than her. Alongside her laid-back companion Lubbock, she travels through a bizarre futuristic world of sky cities, advanced weapons, impossible creatures, eccentric gunslinger, and a society where insanity is often treated as completely ordinary. Myne has one straightforward goal: become the greatest markswoman. Whether that means challenging notorious fighters, throwing herself into tournaments, or picking fights she has absolutely no business picking, she's determined to keep climbing. But underneath the ridiculous adventures, something is wrong with the world. Strange incidents are dismissed as normal. People accept tragedies they don't fully explain. Those who chase extraordinary heights sometimes find themselves stopped by something no amount of talent or determination seems able to overcome. And the further Myne pushes toward greatness, the closer she gets to discovering that the rules governing her world may be far bigger—and far more horrifying—than any opponent she's faced.
