What a shitshow. No, I don't know why I'm telling you. You've made it fucking clear you don't give a fuck. But I got inside through the delivery entry no problem. Proteus should really update their bionics.
Yeah it was going fucking great until your friend Joe followed me in, ranting about me needing to decrypt the data box. I was like hello? What the fuck? That's weirdly similar to the digilog. And how the fuck did he know I picked up a data box. Unless I was supposed to?
But fuck it. Time and place. I would have shot him but the last thing I needed was to draw attention. So I shoved him back out into the delivery bay and locked the doors. Dumb fuck. Hope he got caught loitering.
It's all soft carpets and green lights in there. I didn't make a sound. The great thing about bionics is that they never expect a street rat to slip through the cracks. That, and the fact that a simple disabling of the network powers them down.
I thought that was it. But when I got to the office at the top, Simon, Mr Proteus Industries himself, was still up there.
One look at that slick fucker’s expression, somewhere between recognition and acceptance, told me everything. Which is good because I'd already pulled the trigger.
I found his logs. Pretty interesting reading. He had sent that security bionic after me. Shame I wasn't where he expected. That fucker’s dead too by the way. It's easy to kill a bionic when you know they're coming. So if that's the reason you're staying away, the coast is clear.
