The Accident During Ascension

The gods were not merely watching from above.

With each Ascension, they sent the soul of an angel they loved as family down into the Lower World.

The role of carrying out an Ascension was a heavy one.

An angel entrusted with this mission is called an Ascension Worker.

The Ascension Worker must live a physical life as a human and, despite a life filled with hardship, meet death with a heart filled with love and gratitude.

However, an accident occurred during the most recent Ascension.

An Ascension Worker is assigned a supporter.

But that supporter betrayed the Ascension Worker.

The demons who seek to interfere with Ascension exploit human weakness.

The physical mission was completed.

But because of the betrayal, the spirit could not keep pace.

For the Ascension to succeed, the Celestial Realm, watching the situation unfold, urgently sent an angel with previous Ascension Worker experience down to Earth as a replacement.

Somehow, the Ascension was brought to completion.

But the original Ascension Worker remained in despair.

At the moment of death, the Ascension Worker used the immense power of a Seraph to seal themselves away, protecting themselves from further harm.

And so, while remaining Innocent, the Ascension Worker fell from the Celestial Karma Loop into the Human Karma Loop.

From the cycle of reincarnation in the Celestial Realm into the cycle of human souls in this dimension.
