As it reached 1.00 am, the killer made his way over the train tracks, down Hest Bank Lane, and reached number 2 Hest Bank Lane.
As he checked the doors and windows, the killer noticed that everything was locked, but also noticed when he looked down that there was a false rock by the front door. He picks it up, and out slides the key for the front door. The killer put the key in the keyhole slowly and quietly so as not to wake anyone up. As he opened the front door, there wasn’t a sound in the house at all, to the point that the killer thought that maybe no one was home. He made it upstairs straight away and walked into the bedroom. He found it was the bedroom of Casey and Frank, the killer walked straight up and slashed both their throats before they could react, and both were dead straight away. He then made his way into the Gary and Paula Manish room and slashed their throats that causing them to die instantly. The next room was the bedroom of Dave and Rachel Manish, as he walked in, Dave Manish woke up and jumped out of bed to confront the intruder, but the killer was far too quick, as he swiped the knife across Dave Manish throat from left to right within less than a second. Dave Manish died within seconds and was dead on the ground. Just as he made he was to Rachel she also woke, but the killer ended her life instantly also with a quick swipe of the knife. The killer then went into 18 years Wendy’s room where he brutally raped her for over an hour. Then he killed Wendy Manish by also slashing her throat. The killer spent hours removing their skin and swapping them around onto each others bodies. After he was done, the killer placed each victim on a dining room chair, tied them up and poured acid onto the bodies, leaving them to meal away. The killer then left the property the same way he came in. Swiping the key down and placing it back into the false rock. The killer then made his way back over the train tracks and disappeared feeling proud of his self.

8.30am phone rings

“ Mike, can you come to number 1 Hest Bank Lane, the killer has struck again; this time it is a family of eight victims. This bastard is sick, and we now officially have a serial killer on the loose. Mike, this is worse than the last one,” Explained Terry

“ Am on my way, fuck sake

Mike made it to the crime scene within about 30 minutes due to the traffic and people dropping their kids off at school and going to work. As he pulled in he saw the familiar surroundings of the tents and tunnels. So many police vans and CSI vans were around. Which told Mike that this was just as bad as the last one. Mike parked up and went and put his white crime scene overalls on with his mask and foot covers, so as not to contaminate the scene.

As Mike made his way through the door, Sally told Mike to come upstairs, as that is where all the victims were. As Mike made his way up the stairs, he smelt the same dry blood that he had smelt from the last two murder scenes. As he reached the top of the stairs and made his way into the first room, he saw that two victims had been de-skinned from the front and then had been tied to a chair with acid poured over them.

“Every victim was in the same position and had the same done to them. However, the killer had focused more on the daughter than the rest. Mike noticed that the daughter had been brutalised for many hours. The killer had spent time in deskinning the daughter. She had many stab wounds, well over 30 that Mike could count. Her hair had been removed with a scalpel.

“Yes, each victim is the same, except for the 18-year-old daughter, who has also been sexually assaulted

Mike started to walk into each room, and each room was the same, when Mike walked into the parents' room, he noticed a pool of blood on the floor about five steps away from the bed, to Mike that suggested that the dad woke up and attempted to fight his killer.

“Evidence suggest the Dad woke up before he was killed, the killer slashed his throat while the victim as standing,” Explained Sally

“ So, where do we think the killings started?

“Not too sure yet, still working through the scene, we will have a better idea when all evidence has been collected and the bodies have been processed,” Sally said

“ I want the Lab to focus solely on the three cases that have come to light, push all other crime scenes to the back, I want all evidence analysed first. Nothing comes before this case. Does everyone understand me. We officially have a Serial Killer on the loose,” Mike confirmed

Each officer and detective looked at Mike with shock and fear in their faces; they had dealt with killers before, but not a serial killer. This was new. Everyone now knew they weren’t going to be seeing their own families till this case was completed and someone was arrested and charged for the hideous crimes.

“ What if we don’t catch or figure out who this individual is Sir, asked the young Officer

“ Then turnover every stone and every bit of fucking evidence that we have, until we do,” Mike said

“Yes, Sir

“ Mike, turn the TV on now,” Shouted Detective Terry

“BREAKING NEWS”

Another multiple murder has taken place at number 2, Hest Bank Lane, there are eight victims who have been brutally murdered. This officially means we have a serial killer on the loose in Morecambe. We advise that you lock your windows and doors. Please make sure to remove any and all keys that are left in a safe place outside your property, as the serial killer used a door key from a false rock to enter to the property. Sleep tight, people. Take care of each other
“How is this woman getting this information? I want every officer and detective vetted and their mobiles, both work and personal, checked now. When I find out who it is, I will have your badge and career. No information is meant to be given out. The killer now knows what we know.
“Sally, make sure to grab everyone’s professional and personal mobiles, and please check them. Someone here is really pissing me off,” Mike demanded

“You, go and make sure the public is staying away, as we don’t want them anywhere near. Also, go and take pictures of the crowds. Killers are known to hang around the crowds, to watch their handiwork,” Mike explained

As the young officer made his way outside, he pushed the crowd back towards the train tracks and got the CSI to take pictures of the crowd. The pictures were uploaded on the laptop in the back of Sally’s vehicle, which held all of her CSI kit.

“Mike, the pictures have uploaded, there doesn’t seem to be anyone that I would look at, but I do have the young officer taking notes and asking the crowd questions, taking their names and addresses if needed.

“I am going to go and have another look at the crime scene on my own. I think better. Mike made his way back into the property, watching the blood trails, following them, which helped Mike know where the killer started. Mike started from the parents' room, seeing the blood and where it landed, helping Mike know who was killed first. Mike getting into the head of the killer, noticed that the son was killed first, then the daughter in law, Mike followed the trail of blood into the next bedroom, where he noticed the first to be attacked was Gary, then Paula, Mike saw that the killer was quick and methodical with each attacked, the killer did like to let the blood from the victims, drip of the knife as he was walking to each room, with ease. This helped Mike follow the killer's lead and how he thought. Mike was in the parents' rooms next, where he noticed that there was a heavy flow of blood next to the dad's side, where he believed that dad had tried to subdue the killer, but was unsuccessful, as once again the killer was faster and quicker. Then there was a sudden spray of blood across the walls by the bedroom door, which made Mike think that Rachel, the mum, had woken up and gone on the attack, that, unfortunately, she lost. After what seemed like an hour, Mike made his way into the 18-year-old Wendy’s room, where she had been placed on the bed, and had been left in the same position that the killer had raped her in. The daughter had the skin of her mother on her body; it had been placed so perfectly. The person who is responsible for these killings has a medical background to be able to be so precise with his cuttings.
As Mike spent another hour walking around the house, he got a good understanding of how the Killer works.

“Send the pictures to me, please. I am going to go back to the station. I’ll leave you guys to do what you do best. Once the bodies are back at the morgue, call me, Terry, and I will come and look. As I want answers now, is there a possibility that he had help and there were two, not one, doing the killings? Do you think one person could do all this?” Mike asked

“It is what we were thinking; it would have taken hours to do all this on his own, and yes, Mike, we know you want answers yesterday, but it will take me time to go through all the evidence. I can’t give you a maybe answer, but I want to give you the correct answer once I have analysed everything,” Smiled Sally

“Fine, I just want this person to be found and arrested before another killing happens,” Explained Mike, looking frustrated.

“I know you do we all want that, but we have to follow the evidence, which takes time,” Sally explained gently

Sally worked for days straight, working through the evidence, to be able to find this killer. Sally matched the DNA from the first crime scene to the second crime scene. Sally was able to tell Mike and Terry that both crime scenes were linked.
