With our hands above our heads, officers opened both car doors, pulled us out, and placed us in handcuffs.
“What the fuck is happening, this can’t be happening,” the caller screamed.
“Derek Johnson, we are arresting you for the murders of the original and recent killings of The Unknown Killing. You have the right to remind silent, you have the right to an attorney, if you don’t have one, one will be appointed to you. Do you understand your rights?” asked the officer?
“Fuck you,” Derek said
“Leila Lawson, you are being arrested for The mummy killings, you have the right to remain silent, you have the right to an attorney and if you don’t have one, one will be appointed to you. Do you understand your rights? The officer asked.

“Listen there is no way that my little sister is a serial killer, she’s one of the good guys.

“I knew, as soon as I found the earring, especially after your weird behavior.

“Riding with Johnson. Wants to be with this right to the end,” the young officer replied.

Terry and Johnson side by side in the back of the car, while two on-duty police officers drove the car to the station.
“How did you beat me?” Johnson demanded.
Terry remained silent. He just smiled and kept looking right ahead.

“ You would have gotten away with it as well, had you not wanted your daughter so badly,” Detective Terry said with a massive smile and then turned his head back to face the back of the driver’s head.
Johnson’s face went white as a ghost as he realized he had gotten himself caught because he couldn’t let go of his little girl, whom he was so sure was unlovable. Yet he risked everything to speak to her about how he fucked himself.
Leila is in the police car with Superintendent Goodman and Detective Andrews
I’ve near felt so beaten in my life. What the fuck did I do? My life is over. I guess I deserve it, but those women didn’t deserve to be mothers either. I did those kids a Favour by killing their mothers.

Just then the phone rang.

“ Boss. I’ve just got the DNA profiles back for both Leila and Johnson. It’s confirmed they are father and daughter. Am just arriving at the cabin now.
“ Okey,” The big man said.
“Mike, are you and the girls okay,” Sally said hugging everyone.
“ All good, the girls are fine. Just freaked out, like the rest of us,” Mike replied.
“Are we sure that Leila is The Mummy Killer? “ Asked Angie.
“100% now we are. DNA profiles have come back on both Leila and Johnson. They are father and daughter. No doubts at all. Then we have gone over the recording that Mike took of the conversation between both. The evidence at the crime scenes. The scenes are still being processed. Our databases showed that Leila did 100’s of searches on each victim, while trying to frame Brandon. The fact that Johnson had been watching Leila since she was a baby. My team is at Johnson’s home as we speak, collecting evidence. There is 1000’s of pictures of Leila, Dave, and Frank over the years. With more of Chole and Shannon. He was watching all of you for years.
“But why did it take Leila so long to snap? If she has the same sickness as her father,” asked Dave.
“ We can't be sure that Leila would have done the same as her father. There has been research over the years. I mean, the nature/nurture debate has been on for years.
On all accounts, Leila is one of the good guys. She has a lot of bad people behind bars over the years.
“Are we thinking the baby issue caused something to break inside of her?” Shannon chimed in.
“Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't notice you there. Sorry, Mike, I wouldn’t have brought any up if I knew Shannon was there.

“Okay. It could have been. Leila didn’t really speak about anything to me, and I didn’t pay enough attention to see that something was wrong,” Sally said, looking sad.
“I only noticed a couple of weeks after the appointment. I didn’t pay enough attention either.
But it doesn’t excuse what she did. Innocent mother’s dead. Because of this. Why didn’t she ask for help?” Mike asked?
“So because Leila couldn’t get pregnant, she decided to take the lives of other mothers because they shouted at their kids,” asked Chole.
“We’re not sure. We will find out more when she is interviewed.

“Detective Mike. Detective Leila Lawson is about to be booked. I thought you might want to listen and so is Derek Johnson.
“Leila Lawson. You have been arrested on four charges of murder with intent. Four charges off breaking into a government database. One of charge of becoming,” The officer stated.
“Please empty your pockets.

“Please remove your Shoes and clothes. A white body suit will be provided to you. When you have removed your clothes. Place your clothes into the bags the officers will have open for you. Do you understand?

“Please follow the officers, and they will assist you.

Follow the officers and they will assist you. As Johnson obeyed and followed the officers. He smiled and said,” Ill be remembered for years to come and The Unknown Killer and you only caught me because I made a little fucking mistake.

“I’m surprised you’re not doing the interviewing, Mike,” Sally asked.
“I am. On Johnson. But he can wait till tomorrow. I think we’ve had enough excitement for today. Besides, it will drive him nuts. Waiting,” Mike explained.
“Okay. I’m going. I’ll see you tomorrow. Try and get some sleep,” Sally said.
“What about Leila? Who will interview her?” asked Frank.
“Someone else from the team. It’s too close for me to interview her. Am guessing the superintendent will be the one. Or an outside team. We need to make sure everything is done by the book,” Mike explained.
“What about us,” Dave asked.
“Well, you can stay here. Or you can go home once the police are done taking statements. I do want you all to stay InTouch. You are my girls’ uncles after all. This doesn’t change anything.
“We would love that. I think after we are done here. We will make our way home. As it’s going to be a shit show. Once Leila’s trial starts,” Dave said.
“Shannon. Chloe. How are you both doing? What a mess.
“Am just shocked that my step mum is a serial killer. She didn’t act like one. Or give any vibes off at all,” Shannon replied.
Chole remained quiet. While looking out of the kitchen window.
“Cho. Baby, are you okay,” asked Mike.
“Yeah,” Chole said very quietly with her head down and turned and went upstairs. Closing her door behind her.
“It’s going to take her time to process what has happened. Leila was her mum, and her world has been turned upside down,” Angie said.
“Okay enough, let’s get something to eat, then we can all go to bed. Start fresh in the morning,” Mike clapped.
