Delete your LitFic account

You can ask us to delete your LitFic account and its data at any time. This applies whether you read on litfic.com or in the LitFic mobile app.

How to request deletion

1. Go to the Ever After contact page.
2. Send us a message that includes the words "delete my LitFic account" and the email address you signed up with.
3. We may reply to the account's email address to confirm the request really came from you.

What gets deleted

Within 30 days of a confirmed request we permanently delete your sign-in identity, profile, library, reading history, unlock records and remaining LitCoin balance. If you have published stories, tell us whether you want them deleted too or left up under an anonymised author name. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone, and a deleted LitCoin balance cannot be refunded or restored.

Important: a LitFic account is an Ever After account. Deleting it also deletes your access to other Ever After Group services that use the same sign-in (such as Ever After Books) and the shared LitCoin wallet. We will confirm this with you before deleting.

What we may keep

Records the law requires us to keep (for example purchase records for tax purposes) and routine server logs that rotate automatically. Anything kept is no longer linked to a usable account.
